Meet the four individuals leading ATLAS into the future with over 130+ years of commercial and government experience, it’s safe to say they’ve been around the block a few times. From overseeing day-to-day operations, to presenting at global industry conferences, our founders share a passion for providing exceptional service to the space industry.

John Williams, CEO, ATLAS Space Operations

John Williams

Chief Executive Officer

As the Chief Executive Officer, John Williams plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of ATLAS Space Operations. His extensive and diverse industry knowledge is instrumental in driving company growth, fostering innovation, and ensuring exceptional service to clients across the space industry. Prior to joining ATLAS, John served as the Vice President of Real-Time Earth at Viasat, where he spearheaded the development of the Ground-Station-as-a-Service business line.

With a steadfast commitment to innovation and a forward-thinking vision, Williams has effectively held leadership positions at other renowned organizations, including Booz Allen Hamilton, ATK Space Systems, and Universal Space Network (now SSC). John also had a diverse 21-year United States Air Force career as an officer, encompassing various roles in operations, acquisition, budgeting, strategic planning, and command. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University and earned his Master’s degree in Space Operations from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology.

Brad Bode, CTO | CIO, ATLAS Space Operations

Brad Bode

Chief Technology Officer

Brad Bode brings over 23 years of software development experience in the aerospace industry to the ATLAS team. He has designed, developed, tested, and deployed satellite command and control, mission planning, and data management applications throughout his career – to include multiple patents. As the architect and visionary behind Freedom Ground Software as a Service, Brad is responsible for hundreds of thousands of successful satellite passes and terabytes of data collected. Bode’s technology and innovative acumen has resulted in the following recognition: Most Promising Technology Solutions Provider for the Telecom Industry (CIO Review ), Top Satellite Solutions Provider (Aerospace Defense and Review), and an official nomination for Satellite Technology of the Year (Via Satellite).

Bode has led ATLAS’ initiative to fully integrate our Freedom Software with both ViaSat Real-Time Earth (RTE) and AWS Ground Station. This integration led to the expansion of the ATLAS federated global ground network to 50+ antennas, at 34+ ground sites, in 20 countries. He obtained his Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.

TI Weintraub, Chief Growth Officer, ATLAS Space Operations

T.I. Weintraub

Chief Growth Officer

T.I. Weintraub is the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) of ATLAS Space Operations. A Colorado resident with over 30-years of aerospace and defense leadership experience, he is responsible for the company’s growth strategy. Prior to joining ATLAS Space Operations, he most recently worked for BlueHalo where he was responsible for the growth of the Space Superiority and Directed Energy portfolios.

Weintraub has held leadership positions at Riverside Research, Raytheon, Harris, and Peraton. He is a former decorated U.S. Army officer with specialties in imagery intelligence, defense acquisition, and space operations. Weintraub served in Operations Desert Shield/Storm, Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and Iraqi Freedom. He is a distinguished military graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Applied Photographic Science and has completed M.S. coursework in Telecommunications from George Mason University.

Corey Geer, Chief Financial Officer, ATLAS Space Operations

Chief Financial Officer

Corey Geer is the Chief Financial Officer of ATLAS Space Operations. A Michigan native with over 20 years of experience as a senior financial executive, Geer has an extensive background in financial planning and analysis, accounting, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and capital raising. Prior to joining ATLAS, Geer moved his family to Northern Michigan and was the CFO of both domestic and international food processing companies ranging from $50 million to $100 million in revenue. Additionally, Geer served as the inaugural Chairman for two years for the Grand Traverse Area Manufacturing Council, a group dedicated to the growth of thriving Northern Michigan manufacturers.

Before moving to Traverse City, Geer was the Director of Finance for Tillster, a San Diego-based software company serving the restaurant and theater industries, and prior to that, was the Manager of Finance for HomeAdvisor (previously ServiceMagic) in Denver. At various times throughout his career, Geer has consulted with numerous organizations, offering financial services and expertise. Geer started his career in investment banking with Merrill Lynch in Chicago in their mergers and acquisitions group and graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics.

ATLAS Space Operations to Support Blue Origin’s Blue Ring DarkSky-1 Mission
Blue Origin has selected ATLAS Space Operations, the largest U.S.-owned and operated federated ground network, to provide ground segment support for their upcoming Blue Ring mission, DarkSky-1. Announced October 2023, Blue Ring provides end-to-end services that span hosting, transportation, refueling, data relay, and logistics in medium earth orbits (MEO), geostationary orbits (GEO), lunar orbits, and beyond.
ATLAS Space Operations Proves Operational Hybrid Space Architecture Capability
ATLAS Space Operations recently completed the successful operational integration of a Department of Defense (DoD) antenna through ATLAS’ Freedom Software Platform - demonstrating true hybrid network capability. Hybrid Space Architecture (HSA) has long been a sought-after capability. This technology allows the linking of the Department of Defense, Civil Government, private agencies, and commercial satellite ground stations into a single, global software-defined network.
ATLAS Space Operations Provides Ground Support for VICTUS NOX Mission
ATLAS Space Operations, the leading Ground Software as a Service™ (GSaaS) provider, was contracted by Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, to support Space Systems Command’s VICTUS NOX program, demonstrated its rapid onboarding ability across a global network during the record-setting U.S. Space Force Tactically Responsive Space mission.
ATLAS Space Operations Federated global antenna network
Freedom Space Technologies announced a partnership with Omni Federal to develop a next-generation ground system for U.S. Space Force missile-warning satellites. Omni Federal was awarded a $9.7 million contract from the U.S. Space Force to work on the ground systems for the FORGE C2 project. This project aims to modernize the command and control systems for the Space Force’s missile-warning satellites. Williams, CEO of Atlas Space Operations, expressed confidence in their government-focused subsidiary and highlighted their capability to operate a network.
