From overseeing day-to-day operations, to presenting at global industry conferences, our founders share a passion for providing exceptional service to the space industry.

Corey Geer, Chief Financial Officer, ATLAS Space Operations

Corey Geer

Chief Executive Officer

Corey Geer is the Chief Executive Officer of ATLAS Space Operations. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer for over two years and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and CFO in October 2024, before his recent appointment as CEO. A Michigan native with over 20 years of experience as a senior executive, Geer has extensive expertise in strategic management, operations, financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, and capital raising.

Prior to joining ATLAS, Geer relocated his family to Northern Michigan, where he served as CFO for domestic and international food processing companies with annual revenues up to $100 million. He also served for two years as the inaugural Chairman of the Grand Traverse Area Manufacturing Council, dedicated to supporting the growth of Northern Michigan’s manufacturing industry.

Before his time in Traverse City, Geer was Director of Finance for Tillster, a San Diego-based software company focused on the restaurant and theater industries, and Manager of Finance for HomeAdvisor in Denver. Throughout his career, Geer has consulted for various organizations, providing strategic financial guidance. He began his career in investment banking with Merrill Lynch’s mergers and acquisitions group in Chicago and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Michigan.

Brad Bode, CTO | CIO, ATLAS Space Operations

Chief Technology Officer &
Co-Founder

Brad Bode brings over 23 years of software development experience in the aerospace industry to the ATLAS team. He has designed, developed, tested, and deployed satellite command and control, mission planning, and data management applications throughout his career – to include multiple patents. As the architect and visionary behind Freedom Ground Software as a Service, Brad is responsible for hundreds of thousands of successful satellite passes and terabytes of data collected. Bode’s technology and innovative acumen has resulted in the following recognition: Most Promising Technology Solutions Provider for the Telecom Industry (CIO Review ), Top Satellite Solutions Provider (Aerospace Defense and Review), and an official nomination for Satellite Technology of the Year (Via Satellite).

Bode has led ATLAS’ initiative to fully integrate our Freedom Software with both ViaSat Real-Time Earth (RTE) and AWS Ground Station. This integration led to the expansion of the ATLAS federated global ground network to 50+ antennas, at 34+ ground sites, in 20 countries. He obtained his Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.

VP and General Manager Network Operations

With over 25 years of expertise in the satellite communications industry, Kristin Rice is a recognized leader in operational management and business development. She began her career as the CEO and President of Constellation Network Corporation, where she founded and operated a teleport in Sweden, delivering services to the geospace industry and supporting hundreds of remote VSAT terminals.

In 2018, Rice joined ATLAS Space Operations, where she led the expansion of a ground infrastructure to support the growing demand for LEO satellite imagery and data globally. Overseeing both operations and commercial business development, Rice is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and driving customer success. Her leadership is key to advancing ATLAS’ mission to innovate and thrive in the dynamic space communications industry.

Norman Lee, VP of Brand and Human Resources, ATLAS Space Operations

Norman Lee

VP of Brand and Human Resources

With over 30 years of experience, Norman Lee has had a diverse career leading marketing, business development, operations, and various other teams and assignments. Currently, Norm is the Vice President of Brand and HR for ATLAS Space Operations. Previously, he was an integral part of the executive-level leadership team at Hagerty in marketing, sales, business development, national accounts, client engagement, and operations.

Before establishing roots in Traverse City, Norm worked with Ford Motor Company for 17 years with a strategic focus on Ford and Jaguar/Land Rover brands. At that time, he held managerial positions in various areas, including global and regional market operations, marketing and sales, distribution, and franchising. Norm has lived and worked overseas in Belgium and Taiwan. Norm holds a Master of Business Administration with a core focus on marketing from Michigan State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies from the University of Michigan.

John Williams, CEO, ATLAS Space Operations

Executive Advisor

As the Executive Advisor, John Williams plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of ATLAS Space Operations. His extensive and diverse industry knowledge is instrumental in driving company growth, fostering innovation, and ensuring exceptional service to clients across the space industry. Prior to joining ATLAS, John served as the Vice President of Real-Time Earth at Viasat, where he spearheaded the development of the Ground-Station-as-a-Service business line.

With a steadfast commitment to innovation and a forward-thinking vision, Williams has effectively held leadership positions at other renowned organizations, including Booz Allen Hamilton, ATK Space Systems, and Universal Space Network (now SSC). John also had a diverse 21-year United States Air Force career as an officer, encompassing various roles in operations, acquisition, budgeting, strategic planning, and command. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University and earned his Master’s degree in Space Operations from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology.
