ATLAS Space Operations Completes Rapid Onboarding of Critical TROPICS Spacecraft
In May 2024, NOAA predicted an 85% likelihood of above-normal Atlantic hurricane activity for the eighth year in the last decade. MIT LL’s TROPICS mission aims to provide crucial storm data. With rapid response from ATLAS Space Operations, TROPICS was integrated and operational within four weeks. This enhanced data delivery aids in the ability to collect vital sever weather data.
