Traverse City, Michigan — November 9, 2021 — ATLAS Space Operations has been named to the Military Times Best for Vets list, an annual publication of the country’s top veteran-friendly employers. ATLAS ranked #5 among small and medium sized businesses, and #7 in the state of Michigan. To earn this recognition, ATLAS and others had to demonstrate recruitment and retention of veterans, show continuing support for reserve component and Guard members, and incorporate veteran-specific training and corporate programs.

In 2021, ATLAS Space Operations earned Silver level certification from the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency as a Veteran-Friendly Employer, and was named to Inc. Kerrie Kornexl has worked at ATLAS Space Operations for three years. Before coming to Traverse City, she and her husband Robert served in various roles across the armed forces.
